Bogs Hall Stables Livery and Tuition
Bogs Hall Stables Livery and Tuition was founded in 1994 by Ruth and Richard Botham. Over the years the centre has built up a solid reputation for high quality teaching, first rate livery services and a happy, friendly and well run yard. Located just over six miles from Ripon, Bogs Hall Stables is nestled between the picturesque villages of Kirkby Malzeard and Laverton.
Riding out from Bogs Hall is a pleasure with easy access to a network of bridleways and tracks. Many of which lead through the Yorkshire moors and dales in beautiful countryside.
Horses at the yard are treated as individuals and specific requirements are adhered to. Well maintained, secure paddocks surround the yard where the horses are turned out in groups of friends.
Indoor and outdoor arenas are on site and dressage and show jumping field. Since 2007 Bogs Hall Stables has been BHS approved as both a riding centre and a livery yard.
Bogs Hall also runs a saddle club. Aimed at children who are interested in learning how to look after horses. This club meets on weekends and during the holidays.
A number of other events are take place throughout the year. Including the very popular Adult Gymkhana and Boxing day ride out. As well as pony days during all school holidays on various themes from picnic rides to clear round jumping.
