Carrington Riding Centre
Carrington Riding Centre provides affordable lessons to both adults and children. Based just a few miles south west of Manchester in the Mersey valley green belt. Carrington is situated in 450 acres of open countryside.
Approved by the Local Authority, The British Horse Society, FEI Clubmark, The British Riding Clubs, YELA. HOOF and The Pony Club. The experienced and friendly staff can offer riding lessons to suit all ages (upwards of 3) and abilities.
As well as lessons and hacks, various accredited courses are provided which include both riding and care elements to children and adults. The centre is also a Polocrosse centre for those of you who fancy participating in something a little more ‘vigorous’. Carrington is the only riding school in the area to have a Racewood Dressage simulator, the most advanced of its type in the world.
With one of the largest Pony Club Centres in the UK, activities are provided for children and teens from age 5-18 years old. And also has a varied program of activities in the school holidays as well as pony parties.
The facilities at Carrington Riding Centre include an indoor school, 4 outdoor floodlit all weather ménage and a café.
