Hemsted Forest Equestrian Centre

Nestled in the heart of Kent, in the High weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Countryside, Hemsted Forest Equestrian Centre sits next to Hemsted Forest.

 

The centre is a fully licensed riding school and livery yard. Located 500 yards away from the Hemsted Forest, which offers many hacking routes. The centre has 23 stables and just under 31 acres of grazing.

 

The centre is run by Kerry who has been working with horses full time for over 20 years. In the past years Kerry has trained horses for show jumping, cross country and dressage. She has broken in horses on many occasions. Kerry has now been running Hemsted Forest Equestrian Centre for over 4 years. She has also spent many years as a livery herself at different stables and therefore understands the needs and expectations of both the horse and the owner.

 

There is a wide selection of ponies and horses at Hemsted, ensuring all ages, and abilities are catered for. There are horses and ponies for first time riders or anyone with disabilities or special needs.

 

Hemsted Forest Equestrian Centre is a fully registered Pony Club Centre, with highly qualified BHS instructor’s who are always positive, helpful and willing to work with all abilities.

 

At Hemsted Forest Equestrian Centre animal welfare is of up most importance. Kerry and her family live on site, which also adds an extra level of security.
