Milndavie Stables is located in the village of Strathblane, which is just a half hour drive north of Glasgow. Strathblane is situated at the base of the Campsie Fells and is surrounded by vast moorland and forestry inhabited by a wide population of plants and wildlife. Established in 1965 and family own and run.
Catering for new riders, young riders, those coming back after a break (even some as long as 25 years!), the team at Milndavie are especially patient and understanding with nervous riders and for those more experienced riders who want lessons. There are also monthly schooling sessions with top coaches. In the custom built outdoor school, you can really get to work! From lessons for beginners to advanced riders in the safety of this soft grounded enclosure. For the more advance riders, there are jumps for all levels including cross country.
There are some amazing places to ride within 5 minutes of the Milndavie Riding School and stables. From Forest trails, to hacking though the moors, to the old railway track!
