Northbrook Equestrian Centre

Northbrook Equestrian Centre is a well established ABRS Approved Riding School/Special Needs and Riding for The Disabled Therapy Centre. The centre is also a Pony Club Centre. The centre is set in a picturesque and peaceful location. Nestled on the outskirts of Offord Cluny. Northbrook is situated between Huntingdon and St Neots, so is easily accessible from all surrounding areas.

 

The centre has a relaxed environment for both horses and clients. And offers riding lessons for all ages and abilities, through to more advanced riding. Client also benefit from the on site saddlery shop.

 

As Northbrook is situated on the outskirts of the village, there is direct access onto the farmland bridle paths, enabling safe countryside hacking.

 

The Pony Club offers regular training sessions for children to learn horse and pony care and riding. Badges and Achievement Certificates are worked towards, making the club great fun and extremely educational.

 

Based at the centre, Woodhurst RDA, Huntingdon & District RDA and Wood Green RDA, who the horses/ponies and facilities for their disabled children and adults. Disabled clients are also able to take one to one riding lessons to achieve personal enrichment plus enhance motor skills and core balance. Also grooming and hands-on sessions are available as therapy.

 

Activity days such as ‘Own a Pony Day’, Children Hacks, Fun Jumping and Gymkhana are available. Specialised birthday Riding Parties are always very popular and prove to be great fun for the children.

 

Regular Show Jumping and Showing shows are held as are equine specific clinics throughout the year.

 

Private livery is available for the horse owner, where the horses needs come first, with DIY, part and full livery plus tailor-made services to suit individuals needs.
