Primrose Equestrian Centre is friendly family run riding school situated just outside Downham Market near the Norfolk/Cambridgeshire border 10 minutes from the A10 and A47.
Welcoming riders of all abilities, whether you are a complete beginner looking to take your first steps in learning to ride or an experienced rider wanting to improve your skills in flatwork and jumping. Primrose Equestrian Centre can help you achieve your equestrian goals. Approved by the ABRS (Association Of British Riding Schools) and fully licensed and insured. All lessons are taught by a fully qualified instructor to ensure they are safe, fun and progressive. With a lovely selection of horses and ponies ranging from safe, reliable confidence givers to ex competition schoolmasters, Primrose has the right horse for you to learn and advanced on.
Private lessons are also available if you would like more one to one attention and are a great way of improving your riding quickly. The content of the lesson will be tailored to each individual and can include flatwork and/or jumping as required. Group lessons are available for adults and children. Group lessons have no more than 5 riders which allows everyone to get lots of attention and support. They will include flatwork and/or jumping depending on the ability and wishes of the group. With a selection of Children activities throughout the year, Primrose will have your kids entertained and learning! A Floodlit ‘Flexi-Ride’ All Weather Arena is used all year round and in the summer months more experienced riders can go out into the jumping field.
If you want to go beyond learning to ride and find out about the handling and care of horses and ponies, Primrose Equestrian Centre offers stable management lessons. This is a great way to learn more about these wonderful animals and improve your overall understanding of how and why they behave as they do.
