St Leonards Equitation Centre
Established as a riding centre in 1978 by Andy Reeve, St Leonards Equitation Centre, nestling in the beautiful Tamar Valley, has been offering tuition to adults and children, from complete beginners to aspiring competition riders, for over 40 years.
St Leonards is a family run business and an accredited BHS approved riding school. It is also a well known venue for British Dressage competitions and in 2013 played host to Cornwall’s first British Eventing competition, which is now an annual fixture.
The centre has a wide variety of horses and ponies to suit all abilities. They are well schooled, safe horses and often compete in dressage and jumping competitions. And regular competitions are held at the centre in unaffiliated and affiliated Dressage.
St Leonards has is renowned for it’s friendly atmosphere and lessons are informal, good fun, progressive and often quite tiring.
The centre has 2 all-weather outdoor schools, a full set of show jumps in their own field and a cross-country course with a variety of jumps.
