Wayside Stables
Based in the heart of the Berkshire countryside, Wayside Stables is a family run BHS approved Riding School.
Come riding in the Windsor Great Park, the Queens back garden, where you are guaranteed a pleasant ride in beautiful surroundings on good quality horses. Plus, all abilities from novice to the most experienced riders are catered for.
Wayside also offers riding lessons, from the complete beginner to advanced level in all disciplines. The BHS qualified instructors will match you with the best horses or ponies to ensure that you improve and gain confidence, whether your aim is to ride well enough to enjoy hacking or to go on and succeed in the competitive equestrian world.
There is also a loan service on offer. Designed for those who would love to own a horse but can not commit either the time or money involved. This gives you the opportunity to learn stable management and general horse care before taking the plunge. Another benefit of course is that if you ride regularly, it’s much more economical.
As well as lessons and hacking, Wayside offers pony days, clear round jumping, cross country and the opportunity to compete at local and BSJA affiliated shows. Pony parties for that special birthday can also be provided!
Livery is also available at Wayside. And there’s always a number of horses and ponies for sale.
