Cobbles Farm
Cobbles Farm Equestrian Centre began 1982, when the current owners purchased Cobbles Farm. After renovating the cottage, the idea for Cobbles Farm Equestrian Centre was born with 2 horses and a field to ride in!
Over the next 20 years many animals were rescued, included a herd of cows, sheep, goats and everything in between. Also, over this time, the riding school was also being expanded with more horses and facilities, erecting the indoor school and ménage and renovating the yard stables.
The motto of Cobbles Farm is ‘family comes first’ and because of this ethos, Cobbles is known for it’s supportive, caring, fun family environment for all to play, work and learn in.
Cobbles Farm teaches all aspects of horse and pony care from mucking out, sweeping the yard, to grooming, tacking up, feeding and turning out. Teaching is given in the indoor school and outside ménage.
The centre caters for all abilities and from the age of 4 years old upwards. Cobbles Farm Equestrian Centre is council licensed and are approved by the ABRS (Association of British Riding Schools).
