Hobby Horse Riding School
Hobby Horse Riding Centre is located near Taunton, situated in beautiful rolling countryside at the foot of the Quantock Hills. The yard manager and main instructor Sarah, has over 20 years experience riding, owning, competing and schooling horses and ponies of all difficulties, as well as running a polo yard in Australia. In previous years she was a member of BE and is now registered with BSJA. Sarah is well equipped for teaching riding to all ages with a BA Honors in Early Childhood studies, paediatric first aid training and a current DBS check, as well as over five years experience as a nanny with ages from 0-12 years, first aid at work, BHS and UKCC L2 qualifications.
Hobby Horse Riding Centre is a small, friendly, modest yard with a lovely field equipped with small cross country jumps, show jumps and a schooling area, as well as idyllic hacking around the lanes and up onto the Quantock hills. For those wetter darker days of winter there is a lovely indoor school. Safety is priority at Hobby Horse Riding Centre, and you will learn all the skills and knowledge required to move onto to more advanced levels. You will be taught to ride properly, in a fun and enjoyable experience. In addition to private and group lessons, fun days are offered throughout the school holidays and birthday parties.
