Ivesley
Ivesley, a venue richly steeped in history and equestrian endeavour, combines fantastic facilities with stunning surroundings. The family run business offers a BHS Approved livery yard and facilities for hire including indoor and outdoor arenas as well as a famous cross country course. The facilities can be hired in part or as a whole by individuals, groups, riding clubs or Pony Clubs for training, rallies or competitions. The range and quality of the facilities are reflected by Ivesley hosting the British Riding Clubs Horse Trials qualifiers in 2014 and again in 2015.
The centre organises events year-round including hunter trials, one day events, cross country schooling days, clinics with the region’s foremost eventers and trainers, competitions and shows.
Ivesley is located in Waterhouses in County Durham, six miles to the west of the City of Durham, and is conveniently and centrally located for the major towns and cities in the North East including Durham, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Sunderland, Darlington and Hexham.
