Noakes Farm Riding Centre
Noakes Farm Riding Centre is a long established friendly riding school with a family atmosphere. Located a 1 mile from the market town of Bromyard, 10 miles from Leominster and 12 miles from Hereford. Noakes Farm is surrounded by 250 acres of beautiful Herefordshire countryside to explore. This provides a picturesque and tranquil setting for hacks. In addition, a woodland covered disused railway line, running parallel with the river Frome, offers a safe sheltered route for the less experienced rider.
With highly qualified and experienced BHS instructors, the standard of tuition at Noakes is excellent. Noakes Farm Riding Centre is a licensed school through the Herefordshire Council, who check the horses, ponies and facilities with a full veterinary inspection, each year. You will receive encouraging tuition by experienced qualified instructors. Lessons are available for nervous beginners , to more experienced riders, in a small group or private one-to-one lessons. In addition, the centre caters for birthday parties, hen parties and family groups.
For the children, there is after school riding groups and during the school holidays, there is day courses, morning courses and pony club days. These focus on riding and horse care. Activities include stable management, gymkhana games and handy pony. School groups have the opportunity to hack, school and take part in stable management. This gives pupils a varied experience in all aspects of horse management, helping to build confidence and independence around ponies while making new friends at the same time.
