North Lizard Riding School

North Lizard Riding School was established in 1948 by the late Norman Hannah, now currently owned by Mr Eric J Nunn, who is also a registered Farrier. A small, friendly family run yard that is able to offer expert tuition to both beginner and advanced riders.

As North Lizard Riding School is British Horse Society approved, you can be confident that the very highest standards of care is provided. With beautiful scenic coastal and rural routes to enjoy on your doorstep. Whether you are learning to ride or an experience horse person, North Lizard Riding School offer a relaxed, friendly environment to aid your progressions through riding. The Riding School has taught generations of families to ride and is proud of its reputation as a warm, friendly, inviting and fun yard. Plus, why not buy a North Lizard Riding School Gift Voucher that can be used in the Tack Shop or for Riding Lessons.

Adults are quite welcome to join in general classes and indeed many do. Others however, prefer to ride with others of a similar age and ability. For this reason, some lessons are “adult only”, where you can enjoy the opportunity to socialise with other adults as well as improving your riding skills.

With beautiful scenic coastal and rural routes to enjoy on your doorstep, North Lizard is the ideal place to keep your horse and is the ideal place to catch up with some fresh air, wildlife, fabulous coastal views and unspoilt quality time with your four-legged friend!

North Lizard Riding School’s facilities includes a 40m x 20m floodlit outdoor mènage, Heated indoor viewing area, Tack Shop, Direct access to bridle paths for hacking including coastal routes and more.
