Pen Llyn Lusitano Stud and Riding Centre is the leading Lusitano stud in the UK. Started by Marcia Pendlebury, and her husband Keith, over 30 years ago the centre began breeding Lusitanos in 1994 with the introduction of their foundation stallion, Hilario by Marcia’s daughter Janine. Janine has worked with some of the best Portuguese trainers and is renowned in her field for her training skills and extensive knowledge of the Lusitano Breed.
Classical Riding Lessons gives you the opportunity to ride classically trained horses and some of the best examples of the Lusitano breed. Lessons take place in a large airy indoor school.
Ride through quiet country lanes enjoying the local beautiful scenery or go trekking up Garn Fadryn mountain and experience the magnificent panoramic views from Snowdonia to Hell’s Mouth and South Wales.
Pen Llyn Lusitano Stud and Riding Centre offers week or weekend breaks on your own horse or on a centre’s horse.
