Second Chances Riding School
Second Chances Riding in Bridgend offers horse riding with lots of different horses and ponies. Everybody is welcome at Second Chances.
There are also unique sessions for those who do not want to ride yet and this can involve brushing a pony or taking a pony for a walk in the purpose built secure arena. A large selection of specially chosen games is available to play either when mounted or on foot, after all horse riding is supposed to be fun.
These games are intended to work on areas such as hand eye co-ordination, balance, colour and shape recognition, speech, consequential thinking and planning. Visitors are encouraged to reach their own individual potential and take part in the planning process to help achieve this.
Second Chances Riding have worked over many years with several local organisations and individuals helping those with disabilities discover the joys of riding and develop through game led learning approach.
