Founded when Andrew Gilbert (known locally as Gilly), started taking his friends for horse rides through Windsor Great Park. After seeing how much they enjoyed the experience he started offering the rides to anybody and Tally Ho School was born. Since then thousands of people have experienced their first taste of horse riding in one of England’s most beautiful places to ride; a favoured spot of royalty for centuries today anyone can take in the striking views, ancient forests and beautiful deer herds.

In addition to the rides, Tally Ho is a fully functional stables with over 30 resident horses kept in the best possible conditions. A well stocked riding shop is on site selling equestrian essentials and more experienced riders can also study for and take their British Equestrian Tourism exams here, qualifying to become Ride Leaders themselves.
