Tong Lane End Equestrian Centre
Tong Lane End Equestrian Centre, established over 30 years ago is a family run riding school in Bradford. The centre is ABRS approved and is also a Pony Club Centre.
With a wide range of horses and ponies to suit different needs, Tong Lane End can cater for complete beginners to competitive advanced riders. A number of different types of lessons are offered, from group lessons (maximum of 8) based on ability, to semi-private (maximum of 4) lessons. And one to one lessons so the lessons, tailored to your needs. In addition to the riding school, professional showjumping lessons are available. With both 1 hour and 2 hour hacks available, which consist of riding on the road and on local bridle paths around Tong and Black Carr woods. For group hacks there is a maximum of 8 riders per hack.
Tong Lane End Equestrian Centre is also a Pony Club Centre. At Pony Club you will spend half the time on stable management and the other half, riding. In the stable management section you learn how to care for horses and you work towards achievement badges. The riding consists of dressage, show jumping, pony games, horseball, bareback riding and more.
Each year, a Pony Club Camp takes place for 5 days and 4 overnight stays at the riding schools accommodation. Throughout the week you can work towards any badges you are aiming for and there will be fun competitions and activities going on all week.
