Turbury Equine Liveries
Turbury Equine is situated in the foothills of the West Yorkshire Pennines, mid way between Leeds and Manchester, close to Halifax and Huddersfield. Although just 10 minutes from the M62, just beyond the centre is open moorland, perfect for hacking. Once the domain of packhorses criss-crossing the moor with wool and cloth, these paths now provide pleasure for riders, walkers and cyclists alike.
Turbury Equine is owned and operated by the Lumb family, who have farmed at Far Turbury for four generations. Originally farming both crops and livestock.
Dawn Lumb, who lives on the premises and manages Turbury Equine has realised a personal ambition through the decision to diversify into the Equine market on a full time basis. Dawn is BHS qualified in both stable management and riding, and runs the yard with help and support from the rest of the family and a great team of BHS qualified staff.
Many different types of livery is offered by the Turbury, including Holiday, Rehabilitation, starting/schooling and working livery packages available. The facilities at Turbury include Indoor Arena Outdoor Arena, Floodlit outdoor arena, Cross Country Course.
