Twyford Livery
Twyford Livery is nestled on 28 acres by the Twford Lock on the Stort Canal just a mile outside Bishops Stortford and only 2 miles from the M11. The centre has newly refurbished and in some cases rebuilt traditional loose boxes on two yards, as well as six separate DIY boxes.
All stables are a minimum of 12′ x 12′ in size, have new electrics, rubber matting, and automatic drinkers. There are horse washing facilities with a large boxed solarium to dry horses on cold or wet days. There is a heated rug room which is invaluable in hard cold winters, and a spacious secure tack room with individual lockers. A new common room is the hub for all social activities including monthly lectures from outside speakers.
Twyford Livery has a floodlit, fenced ménage which has three 8′ x 4′ mirrors, a separate fenced jump field and a secure gallop with x-country jumps which is approximately a mile long. Fields are post and rail, with automatic troughs. Horses have all year turnout, weather permitting.
