Vauxhall City Farm

Vauxhall City Farm is a bit different from other riding centres. Set in the centre of London, the stables and arena are set in the heart of Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens amongst many other animals the centre can provide a truly rural riding experience without having to leave the city. They are the most central riding centre in London, the centre is also a registered RDA centre. The riding school is also BHS and ABRS approved.

The centre’s wonderful horses are all unique, with a wide variety of sizes and temperaments which means you can be paired with the right horse for you. There is a wide range of riding lessons for all ages and abilities, including riding for the Disabled. You can choose between private and group lessons, both of which take place throughout the week. The weekday children’s group are suitable for those on lead rein, just off lead rein and learning to trot. There are also limited subsidised places available in group lessons at the weekends for children aged 8-18 who are in receipt of low income support.

If you would like to own a pony and are aged 6-16, you can spend the day experiencing and learning how to care and look after a pony; grooming, feeding, mucking out, tacking up, stable management lectures and lots of riding. There will even be a rosette to take home!
