Wellington Riding
Wellington Riding is one of the UK’s biggest and best-known equestrian centres. Set in 300 acres of the Duke of Wellington’s beautiful Hampshire estate, Wellington is a BHS (British Horse Society) Approved Riding School, Livery Yard and ‘Where to Train’ Centre to BHSI.
With a fantastic range of facilities, including over 60 well-schooled horses and ponies, BHS qualified coaches, Wellington ensures that clients receive the highest possible standards of tuition. Whether you are a total beginner, a competent rider improving your dressage and jumping skills, or training towards professional qualifications, Wellington can improve your horsemanship in a friendly, safe environment.
Wellington boasts a total of 7 riding arenas: A huge 70 x 30m Dukes Hall, a 20 x 40m indoor school, a 60 x 20m outdoor international dressage arena, and a 70 x 40m outdoor jumping arena. There is also a surfaced outdoor cross country arena, complete with a selection of moveable cross-country fences, a further 20 x 60 metre outdoor school; a lunge arena and a mini school for the tiny tots. There is also a Farm Shop Cafe and Tack Shop.
Children from all over the world for visit Wellington Riding, for residential riding holidays. Adult tailor-made courses are designed to enhance riding and horse care at any level. Clinics, affiliated and unaffiliated shows are held throughout the year.
