Wellow Trekking Centre
Wellow Trekking and Corporate Hospitality offers a range of group incentive and corporate entertainment activities tailored to meet your needs. Set in the picturesque village of Wellow, just 6 miles from the Georgian City of Bath, it’s the ideal location for outdoor pursuits. Wellow Trekking Centre also operates as a separate Horse Riding and Trekking Centre for adults and children of all ages, from beginners to experienced riders, with a large selection of rides deep into the heart of the countryside.
The centre is a small, friendly family run with horses to suit riders of all standards and abilities. For non-rider, a wide variety of other activities can be enjoyed including archery and clay pigeon shooting. Children can enjoy the play area and the animals at Frank’s Farm. Holiday accommodation is also offered.
Whilst improving your horse riding skills, you will travel through beautiful and enchanting countryside, much of which is inaccessible by car. The local Riding for the Disabled Association, has been based at the centre for over 20 years. Highly trained staff and volunteers are on hand to help riders and carers to ensure that their horse riding experience is a safe and fulfilling one.
The Horse Livery Centre is run by Judy Shellard. It is run to a high standard being B.H.S and A.B.R.S approved. The qualified staff who are only too pleased to be of any help that you may need. The yard boasts both indoor and outdoor arenas.
