Witcham Equestrian Centre

Witcham Equestrian Centre is owned and managed by Sally Wilkin, BHSAI. She has 25 years of competition experience, including affiliated show jumping to Grade A, medium dressage and cross country. She has 22 years experience of training horses and riders to competition and examination level.  Sally has experience breaking and schooling horses and ponies for clients, electing suitable horses for clients and in handling problem horses.

 

Witcham Equestrian Centre offers a range of services from training for the novice rider, to advanced  studies like Dressage and Show jumping. Instruction is tailored to your ability and requirements.Bring your own horse or use one of Witcham’s well-schooled horses. Advice is also available on preparations needed for competitions for both horse and rider.

 

The Pony Club is an international youth organization for people interested in ponies and riding. Witcham is an approved Pony Club Centre. The pony club allows children who do not have their own ponies to gain knowledge and some hands-on experience.

 

The facilities include a floodlit 30m x 50m indoor arena. All-internal Loddon stabling, secure tack room, industrial washing machine and large lecture room. Plus an Mechanical Horse – “Gideon”. This bay gelding is 100% bomb-proof. He is ideal for riders wanting to make a gentle come-back to riding or to keep fit while their horse is off work for any reason.
