World’s most handsome horse

January 2017
Frederik the Great

Frederik The Great is considered to be the world’s Most Handsome Horse. He’s a breathtakingly beautiful Friesian stallion owned by Pinnacle Friesians.

Currently, Frederik resides at a stud in the Ozark Mountains in the US. Frederik shares his name with the ruler of Prussia from 1740-1786. He is well recognised for his Power, Elegance, Beauty, Nobility and Showy nature.

The highly acclaimed horse has a muscular build, striking black features and flowing mane. As a top dressage house, Frederik has won Dressage Grand Champion in 2007,  2008 he won Supreme Stallion in hand and halter.

In 2014, Frederik took the Blue Ribbon again at the Green Country Dressage Competition USDF and USEF.

Thanks to his wining pedigree, Frederik The Great has become a celebrity with appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Late Late Show with James Corden and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

He has also taken the web by storm with a Facebook fan page of more than 12,500 followers. As well as a blog, which tracks his life! And as a result, the stunning stallion has amassed quite a hefty fan following too!

Currently available for stud, his legacy will continue for a long time coming. His first offspring was born in August 2015. Vaughn, a Friesian colt, shares the same striking appearance as its father and at just nine months old is completely adorable.

With a relatively low stud fees when compared to other greats like Frankel, if you want to breed you’ll have to sign up for the waiting list. Hopefully we’ll see one of his offsprings come up for sale at Tattersalls in the coming years.

Enjoy, Frederik The Great
