Little Hidden Farm
Little Hidden Farm is home to Sue Acworth’s friendly and relaxed riding school.
Sue and Bill Acworth own this mixed organic farm which lies in the beautiful countryside of West Berkshire between Hungerford and the M4. The farm’s 150 acres are devoted to rearing both sheep and beef cattle, growing arable crops for seed for other organic farmers and supporting a busy riding school which provides for children and adults to enjoy riding in a friendly and relaxed farm based atmosphere.
At Little Hidden the riding school is closely linked to the farm itself. The horses and ponies live out in species-rich meadows, many hedges have been planted for their shelter, tracks surround every field and riders are able to see real farming in progress.
Sue Acworth, who runs the riding school, tries to ensure that riders of all degrees of experience are well matched to their mounts and that they go out with groups of similar ability.
Little Hidden Farm offers a range of lessons for all ages and includes riding for Corporate Groups and Pony days for the children as well as hacking through the farm.
