Old Manor House Riding School
Based in Oxford, Old Manor House Riding School offers all year round training and tuition. The centre is both British Horse Society (BHS) and Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS) approved.
Children aged 6 years onward and adults of all ages are able to undertake lessons at Old Manor. Form the complete beginner, nervous, novice rider to the more advanced. The experienced staff will match you to the correct horses and ponies that suit your ability and needs. The aim is to help you achieve your goals or to simply enjoy the experience of being around horses.
Old Manor provides BHS and ABRS progressive riding tests and examinations from levels 1 to 6. In addition, stable management courses are run on a regular basis.
For the more experience rider, there is hacking available across local farm land and bridle ways. There are also rides to the beautiful village of South Hinksey where the friendly staff of the General Elliott pub are happy to and serve refreshments and meet the horses!
