Quantock Happy Hackers Riding Club
Quantock Happy Hackers Riding Club is an adult riding club with a difference. You don’t need to own your own horse, but you must have some riding knowledge!
Manor Farm Riding Stables was a trekking centre for many years and has now developed an original concept offering an excellent opportunity to experience horse ownership without needing to own your own horse.
The horses are mainly thoroughbreds, all with exceptional manners, and who offer the potential to help you improve your riding skills either through hacking or using the floodlit, all-weather manege and on-site instructor.
Being a club member will give you an insight into complete horse ownership as you will be responsible for looking after the horses from your arrival at the yard until they are put back into the field.
The centre also offers a livery service.
Just been on the Quantock hills at Seven sisters, met two of your riders going to look at the views. We often walk the dogs around this spot it’s beautiful up there on a clear day. The riders wanted to do the same, but have been made to feel unwelcome ! Seeing the riders enjoying this area for many years why should it change?
