Slades Stables
Saddles is unique to the area, offering a new approach to learning and improving your riding and understanding of horses. All horses are privately owned and cared for to a high standard with plenty of love and attention from their owners also due to a varied exercise regime the horses are happy and enjoy their work, making it a much more pleasant experience for the rider.
With only two lessons taking place at any given time, it will mean that you will feel safe and more able to learn. You will be able to build a relationship with your horse and instructor as you experience this approach to learning to ride. All ages and abilities are catered for in both private or in small groups lessons.
The centre is licensed and fully insured and is run by Carly Purves who has over 25 years experience with horses. She has BHS qualifications and has also trained with Kelly Marks completing many courses in intelligent horsemanship founded by Monty Roberts. Carly has Showjumped up to an international level, being a Horse of the Year 2012 title holder and has worked with Olympic medalists across the world.
For more experienece riders, there are local hacks either individually or in small groups.
The facilities at Slades Stables include a sand and rubber floodlit menage, a purpose-built round pen and cafe.
