Woodside Equestrian
Woodside Equestrian is a small family business, owned and run by Anna and Barnaby Franklin. Based at Woodside Farm, which is located on the North Derbyshire / South Yorkshire border, set in 32 acres of rolling hills. Woodside offers top class care, coaching and excellent facilities.
Anna has competed internationally to Advanced and CCI** level BE, Foxhunter BS, and Advanced Medium BD. She has competed at two Junior National CCIJ* Championships and the Young Rider National CCIYR** Championships. Since 2005 Anna has been a squad member for Great Britain Student Riders, being shortlisted for the World University Equestrian Championships in 2006, and a team member for the International Masterclass in June 2011. She offers Private, Semi-Private and Group sessions both at Woodside Equestrian and facilities elsewhere.
BHS Horse Owners Courses are offered at Woodside Equestrian. A short course in the fundamentals of management and owning or caring for a horse/pony. These classroom based courses are offered at four levels of knowledge.
Woodside Equestrian has great facilities including large open stables, a 60 x 30 m sand and rubber arena with showjumps. There is superb hacking as the centre is only 5 minutes from the beautiful Chatsworth Park Estate and sit on the border of The Peak District National Park.
