Brimington Equestrian Centre
Brimington Equestrian Centre is a family run business started in 1987 by mother and daughter, Margaret and Tracey Priest after their hobby and passion for horses grew. They consequently decided to teach and educate others within the equine world from riders and non riders alike and to teach stable management alongside. Their family motto within the industry has always been ‘cradle to grave care’ for their horses and they all very much become one of the family. Over the years the Centre has grown and developed with many changes, investment and improvements occurring. The Centre now offers a vast array of services and provides training and education for both adults and children.
For the children, a pony club with a rally meets every Monday evening. Every 4th week the Pony Club ride.
Group lessons normally have 4 to 5 people but never any more than 7. They are held within the 20m by 60m floodlight all weather ménage and there is a wide range of ponies and horses to suit all ages and riding levels. The Centre offers graded group lessons so that riders move up through the classes and ride with people of similar levels to themselves.
The centre also runs the British Horse Society Riding and Road Safety Course and Exams which are open to children over 12 years of age and adults.
